For Her, For Hope — A Tribute of Love and Strength
Hi, I’m Saiyette, and I’m raising funds to support cancer-related charities that bring care, comfort, and hope to patients and families every single day.
Cancer has deeply touched my life — my grandmother lost her battle with breast cancer, and witnessing her strength and grace through it all changed me forever. Even during her toughest moments, she remained hopeful and full of love, inspiring everyone around her. Losing her was heartbreaking, but her courage continues to guide me every day.
Since then, I’ve felt a strong calling to make a difference. Along with participating in fundraising campaigns, I’ve also donated my hair several times to the Friends of Cancer Patients – “Locks of Hope” Program, which provides wigs to children fighting cancer. Each act of giving reminds me that compassion — no matter how small — can bring light into someone’s darkest moments.
Through “For Her, For Hope”, my Yalla Give campaign, I hope to raise funds for cancer research, patient care, and awareness initiatives. This campaign is my tribute to my grandmother’s spirit — a way to turn grief into purpose and help those still fighting this battle with the same courage she showed.
Every contribution, big or small, helps fund treatment, provide emotional support, and spread awareness. Together, we can honor the fighters, remember the loved ones we’ve lost, and help build a future filled with hope.
