54-year-old Nur (Umm Mohammed) was diagnosed with brain cancer on 20 November 2020 and has been receiving treatment at a specialised hospital in the UAE.

Nur, originally from Pakistan, has lived in the UAE for more than 40 years. Her husband and children are devastated to see her suffer and they feel helpless, as despite pooling their financial resources, they are not able to afford her medical care. They have appealed to Al Jalila Foundation to raise the funds needed to help cover the costs of the life-saving treatment their mother desperately needs.

“It is heartbreaking to see our mother suffer from this debilitating illness. We are grateful to Almighty Allah for giving her a new lease of life and giving us hope that she will beat cancer.”
