Brought up in God’s own country, Kerala, Indian artist Rani Viswambharan is a long-time resident of Abu Dhabi for the last 25 years. I developed a close kinship with nature and the color of harmony as a young child. That kinship is the basis of my art, in which the patterns and textures of nature are turned into flowers, pots, and leaf veins. Having trained in all sort of media such as oil, acrylic, Drawing, Ceramic painting, Thanjavur painting, Fabric painting, Glass painting, Kerala mural, Rajasthani mug work, silk painting, metal embossing, DINO art, and sculpture, etc. ‘I try to reach cultural diversity beyond the language or traditions of the border”.
