Fundraising Hero of April: Alexander Macalinao

We are thrilled to announce our Fundraising Hero of April: Alexander Macalinao, the Chairman of Unitri. Unitri is a nonprofit community that leverages the power of sports to raise funds for various causes. In April, Alexander and his team rallied together to raise an impressive amount for Nami, a young girl battling blood cancer and receiving care from the Al Jalila Foundation.

Alexander's tireless efforts and innovative approach truly made a difference. His campaign not only met its financial goals swiftly but also brought the community together in a powerful display of solidarity and support for Nami.

Criteria for Fundraising Hero of the Month

Our Fundraising Hero of the Month is chosen based on 3 key criteria: 

       Impact: How significantly did the fundraiser benefit its intended cause and the community? We look at metrics such as funds raised, the number of people helped, and the positive outcomes achieved.

    Innovation and Creativity: We value fundraisers that think outside the box. Unique ideas, effective use of resources, and novel strategies for engaging supporters make a big difference.

     Community Engagement and Support: Successful fundraisers often rally the community. We appreciate efforts that involve volunteers, collaborate with local businesses or organizations, and unite people for a common cause.

Building Momentum and Hyping Up the Community

The spirit of giving and community engagement is at the core of YallaGive’s mission.
