A School for Life – Cambodia Challenge

Gulf for Good
United Arab Emirates

Story

Gulf for Good, in partnership with a local charity partner in Cambodia, is launching a project to build a permanent English school in rural Siem Reap. The charity has been providing free English and vocational classes since 2009, supporting over 360 children aged 6–18 from low-income families.

In Cambodia, where state schools offer limited English lessons and private education is often unaffordable, this initiative bridges a critical gap—giving children language and life skills that lead to employment, independence, and a brighter future.

Until now, the school has operated on rented land, leaving it vulnerable to rising costs and instability.

This campaign will fund the purchase of land and construction of a permanent campus including classrooms, offices, sanitation facilities, and outdoor learning spaces. Once complete, it will secure the charity’s future and create a lasting educational hub for the community.
