Story

Our names are Adam and Rania - both from Nord Anglia international School in Dubai, 11 years and 14 years old. We are asking for your help and support. Why ? Because sometimes we stop and think about how much we take school for granted—the constant WiFi, the annoying homework, even just having a safe place to go every day. We stress about our grades and what our parents will say but there are so many kids our age who do not even know whether they'll ever even learn to read or write, or if their classroom is just a collapsing tent. Education isn't some extra perk; it's the only real way out of poverty for so many kids and the possibility for a better future. We decided we wanted to help even in a small way but at least let’s do something. We are looking forward to biking 15 km this winter to raise funds for The Child Fund (more info below). Anything you can contribute goes a long way and thank you for helping us help others.

The Child Fund by Al Jalila Foundation is a children’s charitable program that brings the community together working towards a shared goal: to provide life-saving treatment to children in need.
