Story

Nusaned is a humanitarian, community-based and volunteer organization.

Its vision is to empower the marginalized Lebanese communities, throughout Lebanon, to live sustainably.

On August 4 2020 an explosion in the Beirut port rocked the city to its core.

In the aftermath of the horrific disaster, Nusaned developed an emergency response plan to provide relief to those affected.

Our main focus will be providing shelter for all those who have lost their homes. This goes hand in hand with our core program “Roofs That Shield” which aims to provide needy families with the basic human right of shelter. We are collaborating with local institutions and authorities to run a thorough damage assessment in the most affected areas as well as boosting our engineering team's resources thus enabling us to rebuild what has been lost.

Our aim from this campaign is to generate funds to rehabilitate 100 houses at an average cost of 15,000 aed each.

Total fundraising goal needed to realize this is 1.5 million aed.
