Who am I?

My name is Ibrahim Rahman, I am 12 years old and I am running a campaign for TCF. I am going to raise money for charity to help educate less-privileged children in Pakistan.

Pakistan has a large number of out-of-school children in the world.

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) has been working for 27 years as one of Pakistan’s leading organizations in the field of formal education for the less privileged. TCF today, runs 1,687 schools, with 275,000 students and with a 99% pass rate for matriculation.

The Economist quotes TCF as, “perhaps the largest network of independently run schools in the world.” 

Being a Youth Ambassador of TCF Baghbaan, my objective is to: 

• Create awareness about the education emergency in Pakistan.

• Raise funds to help TCF sustain and scale

CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES:

Supporting the TCF Primary School – Cowasjee Campus located in Karachi, Sindh

There are 189 bright and deserving children education at the school.

With AED 500 (USD $136) one child can get an education for a whole year. My goal is to raise AED 3000 (USD $817) to help educate 6 children for a whole year. I need your support to make this campaign a success.

What I am going to do?

I am planning to organize online challenges and organize a garage sale to sell my old toys and books that are in a good condition. For every 500 AED donation to this campaign, I will distribute food and refreshments among workers in my community.
