In May 2027, 240 HSBC global colleagues will set off for Cusco in Peru for HSBC’s Biennial charity trek.

The trek will start in the magnificent city of Cusco,Peru trekking for 5 days and cover upto 100km.

They will journey along high-altitude paths, cross dramatic mountain passes & follow the ancient Inca trails culminating with a summit at the world famous Machu Picchu citadel.

This will be the 6th trek as part of HSBC’s Global Biennial Charity Challenge, which has raised $1 million dollars so far. To keep the charitable spirit running, the UAE-based HSBC colleagues will now carry the baton and raise funds for locally approved charities. This campaign is dedicated to supporting ‘The Child Fund by Al Jalila Foundation’ which is a children’s charitable program in the UAE that brings the community together working towards a shared goal: to provide life-saving treatment to children in need. The fund is rooted in the principles of compassion and an unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of children. It serves as a beacon of hope for children and their healing journey.
