Hi, my name is Rania Aun, and I am 13 years old. I study at Hartland International School in Dubai and I am passionate about helping children get the education they deserve. While I am lucky to go to a good school, millions of children in Pakistan are not as fortunate.

Imagine being a child eager to read, write, and learn, but the nearest school is too far away or there aren't enough teachers. This is the reality for millions of children in Pakistan. Currently, 26.2 million children in Pakistan are out of school, which represents 39% of the country's children, and more than half of them are girls. This is the highest out-of-school rate for primary education among South Asian countries. Many of these children live in areas where schools are either too far away, too few in number, or not equipped to provide proper education. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and pursue their dreams!

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed non-profit that has been transforming education in Pakistan since 1995. TCF builds and runs schools in urban slums and rural areas, ensuring nearly half of their students are girls.The Economist has called TCF"perhaps the largest network of independently run schools in the world." TCF has 2,033 school units across Pakistan where children were previously out of school. The Foundation is the largest private employer of women in Pakistan with an all-female faculty of 14,700 teachers and principals. With more than 300,000 students, TCF is creating opportunities for children who would otherwise miss out.

I am proud to participate in the TCF Baghbaan Youth Ambassador Programme, where I am raising funds to help TCF educate more children and turn their small dreams into big realities. Your support can make a huge difference:
