In less than 2 weeks, I'll be running the NYC Marathon (Nov 2nd). But my miles are about more than a medal—they're about medicine.  

I'm running to raise funds for the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Emergency Fund, which directly supports their teams responding to some of the world's most urgent humanitarian crises, including those in Gaza and Sudan.

Why Gaza and Sudan?

Gaza is shattered by relentless violence — families are trapped under siege, hospitals are overwhelmed, and survival is a daily struggle.

Sudan is entering its third year of brutal war — millions are starving, displaced, and cut off from healthcare as bombs fall and famine spreads.

These are two of the world’s most urgent humanitarian crises. MSF is there — and refusing to look away.

In Gaza, our teams have:

• Deployed 1,073 staff to provide surgical, maternal, and mental healthcare

• Produced and distributed 60+ million litres of clean water

• Evacuated wounded children for long-term care in Jordan

In Sudan, we’ve delivered:

• 1.7 million medical consultations

• Treatment for 67,000+ malnourished children

• Support to 33 health facilities across 10 states

But the needs are growing — and our teams are stretched to the limit.
