Hi, my name is Momina. I am 19 years old and studied at a school in Dubai. Currently I am fortunate enough to pursue my undergraduate degree from a top university in the UK to build a successful future for myself. This is an opportunity not everyone is privileged enough to have.

The education crisis in Pakistan lies at the core of the country’s struggle to progress as a nation. With over 26.2 million children (39% of children in Pakistan) unable to gain access to schooling, millions are denied their right to learn for a bright future. These disadvantaged children are deprived of education and unable to contribute to society and break free from the cycle of poverty.

To combat this, The Citizens Foundation, a fundraising non-profit organization is dedicated to creating social change by providing underprivileged children with quality education. With over 2,000 school units set up around Pakistan, it changes the lives of 301,000 children by giving them access to an education, with specialized departments and classrooms for all subjects and aspects of schooling

This summer, I’ve chosen to participate in the TCF Ambassadors of Change Programme to fundraise for this cause. I believe in making every child’s education a future for them to pursue. Change begins with one decision, one action, one step toward progress. Please help be a part of this change.
