Makassed General Hospital, located in an overcrowded area in Beirut, is a 230-bed institution that provides un-privileged patients regardless of their nationality and background with high-quality and affordable services for all kinds of illnesses, diseases or injuries. It serves yearly approximately 15,000 inpatients and more than 50,000 outpatient visits, with the commitment of making high-quality healthcare universally accessible across the Lebanese territory.

The MGH is among the top medical facilities in Lebanon with a leading-academic institution and an advanced university hospital that offers a series of clinical training programs through its affiliations with prominent national and international universities, such as the Regional University Hospital Center, as well as Lille University in France.
