Over 15 days, he’ll journey through rugged terrain, climb to extreme altitudes, and experience life in the remote mountain villages of the Himalayas — all while raising funds for an inspiring education project that’s changing lives in rural Nepal.

This challenge will push his physical and mental limits, with basic mountain accommodation, long hiking days, and limited comforts. But it’s not just about reaching Base Camp — it’s about making every step count.

In rural Nepal, children face overwhelming barriers to accessing safe, quality education. Many schools are crumbling or overcrowded, sanitation is often non-existent, and the risks of child labour and trafficking are ever-present. Gulf for Good, in partnership with Thrift for Good, is working to change that by supporting a long-term education programme that provides:

• Teacher training and educational support
• Safe classroom construction and school libraries
• Clean water and sanitation facilities
• Bursaries to help children stay in school

These efforts aim to ensure that thousands of children not only enrol in school but are safe, supported, and empowered to thrive — creating long-term impact for families and entire communities.

FUNDRAISING

This challenge is held in association with Gulf for Good, a UAE-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children and communities worldwide.

The breakdown of how donations are distributed is as follows:

• 75% of funds raised go directly to education projects in Nepal, supporting teacher training, classroom construction, clean water and sanitation facilities, bursaries, and libraries.
• 15% of funds raised go to Gulf for Good, supporting their ongoing efforts to deliver impactful charitable projects.
• 10% of funds raised go to Dubai Humanitarian for their emergency response initiatives.
