Story

Ramadan Mubarak- I launched this Ramadan campaign to provide meaningful support to those in need while seeking the multiplied reward that Allah promises for sincere charity; no matter the amount, every donation makes a difference when it comes from the heart.

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven ears; in every ear are a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing and All-Knowing.” (Qur’an 2:261)

This time of year invites us to slow down - to reflect, to reconnect with what truly matters, and to be more mindful of how we show care and generosity toward others. At Doctors Without Borders (MSF), these same values guide their work everyday: compassion, dignity, and standing with people in their hardest moments.

For millions of people, however, Ramadan arrives in the middle of conflict and crisis.

Gaza

As winter deepens and the war continues, families in Gaza face overwhelming hardship. Hospitals are strained, access to care remains fragile, and needs grow more urgent each day. Now more than ever, Palestinians need more care — not less.

Today, we support 1 in 5 hospital beds and assist nearly a third of all births. In 2025, their teams conducted over 800,000 outpatient consultations, treated 100,000 trauma patients, performed nearly 23,000 surgeries, and supplied clean water to half a million people.

Sudan

In Sudan, conflict and displacement are pushing health systems to the brink. As measles spreads across Darfur, our teams continue treating children — including the 1,000th measles patient recently cared for in Nyala alone. Across the country, we provide emergency surgery, maternal and pediatric care, malnutrition treatment, vaccinations, and clean water.

Lebanon

In Lebanon, economic collapse and renewed conflict have left millions struggling to access healthcare. Public facilities face severe shortages, leaving refugees, migrant workers, and vulnerable communities without safe, affordable care. In South Lebanon, Beirut, Tripoli, and Akkar, MSF provides free primary care, mental health support, chronic disease treatment, and emergency response.

Behind every number is a person — a family, a story of resilience and survival. And behind every story is your support. Your donation becomes a hospital visit, a safe delivery, treatment for a child, and clean water for a family in need.

Thank you for helping us save lives when it matters most. Thank you to everyone who has donated, and may Allah accept your efforts and reward you abundantly.
