Aarush Vij is cycling to raise funds in support of breast cancer patients through the Al Jalila Foundation. Since 2020, Aarush has organised this annual fundraiser, and this year’s campaign is especially meaningful as it is dedicated to the memory of his mother Aarti Sondhi, who unfortunately passed away from the disease in late 2024. For 2025, the fundraiser is taking on a new format: instead of cycling solo, Aarush will be leading a team of volunteers working together to achieve a shared goal of 1,000 KM throughout the month of October.

Al Jalila Foundation, a global healthcare philanthropic organization dedicated to transforming lives, was founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai in April 2013, to position Dubai and the UAE at the forefront of medical innovation.

Al Jalila Foundation is a forerunner in raising awareness on the importance of early detection of breast cancer, furthering patient support with medical treatment and investing in local breast cancer research. The mission is to save lives by increasing awareness, education, research and offering emotional and financial support to patients with breast cancer in UAE and the region.

The funds raised from the fundraiser will go to support cancer patients who lack financial resources for their treatment.
