Story
More than 33 million people have been impacted by Pakistan’s catastrophic floods. 116 districts (76%) have been affected by these floods and 84 districts have been declared calamity hit by the government of Pakistan.
We as Siemens Healthineers want to contribute to providing those impacted the most with the basic daily requirements to:
- Provide meals to affected families
- Initiate cash transfers to rebuild lives and livelihoods for families
- Rehabilitate schools
We are inviting employees to contribute to helping victims or those that may be impacted by making personal donations* to The Citizens Foundation (TCF). The overall amount donated by employees will then be equally matched by the organization to express our commitment and intention to help families restore their lives.
No amount is too small; even the smallest of our donations put collectively can snowball to a good amount that will be matched by Siemens Healthineers. It will surely make a difference!
This is an opportunity for us to give back to society and to help affected members of our community. Let’s come together and make a difference by donating today.
Should you have questions, please reach out to your Communications Team.
*Employee donations are voluntary and entirely up to employee choice and discretion.
We thank you for your contribution!
The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed non-profit organization that builds and operates formal schools in the urban slums and rural areas of Pakistan. TCF has 1,833 school units in 63 districts across Pakistan where children were previously out-of-school. TCF’s network across hundreds of communities means the organization has deep local knowledge and an ability to mobilize relief in places that are typically forgotten, thanks to our faculty, staff, and alumni.
