Hello Everyone,
My name is Alisha Tasleem and I attend City American School in Ajman, and this fall, I will be in my junior year of high school. I am a STEM, learning, and empowering others kind of person — because to me, when you lift others up, you yourself become higher.
That's why I wanted to raise funds for something really near and dear to my heart:
Underprivileged Children's Education in Pakistan.
The Citizens Foundation, How it all began:
In 1995, a handful of friends in Karachi were inspired to create change and safeguard the futures of children.
They set up The Citizens Foundation (TCF) with one mission:
To make quality education available to every child — no matter background, gender, or income.
Nearly 30 years later, TCF is now one of Pakistan's top non-profit organizations.
They've built 2,033 purpose-built schools in the heart of city slums and rural villages.
They now educate 301, 000 children, and have had 63,000 young minds graduate out of TCF schools — many of whom are now teachers, engineers, doctors, and change-makers themselves.
The Problem:
At the moment, 26 million children in Pakistan aren't in school.
That is 4 out of 10 children — children with potential but with no opportunity.
We talk about "children are the future" — but how many of us are actually holding that fact?
Why Should You Care?
Because this isn't somebody else's problem. It's ours.
A generation that lacks education is a generation that can't lead, innovate, or prosper.
But the point is: you can make a difference — and it's more accessible than you may think.
For 50 AED, you can sponsor a child through a month of school.
For 600 AED, you sponsor an entire year of education for a child.
That's less than you'd spend on new shoes… and it has the potential to change the course of a child's life.

Let's Create a Roshan Kal – A Brighter Tomorrow
Education is the cornerstone of every dream, every solution, every dawn for me.
Let's not wait for change — let's be it.
Give a child a chance to tell their own tale, light up their neighborhood, and shine on tomorrow.
Support. Share. Speak out.
Because one small act of yours… could make a Roshan Kal (a brighter tommorow) for them.
