My name is Zaria Muzaffar. I am 17 years old and go to North London Collegiate School in Dubai. I am dedicated to supporting the cause of education in Pakistan. Living in the UAE I am lucky to have access to the best educational facilities and any support I could need. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many less privileged children in Pakistan.
Pakistan is in the midst of an education crisis with 26.2 million children out of school, more than half of whom are girls. TCF is a non-profit organization that builds and operates formal schools in the urban slums and rural areas of Pakistan.
The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is working to tackle this problem. TCF has 2,033 school units across Pakistan where children were previously out of school. The Foundation is the largest private employer of women in Pakistan with an all-female faculty of 14,700 teachers and principals. Currently, TCF has an enrolment of 301,000 deserving students.
This summer, I am participating in TCF Ambassadors of Change Programme. I am raising funds for TCF to help them educate the less privileged children of Pakistan and turn their small dreams into big realities because with education comes change.
Just 100 AED could educate 2 children at TCF for a whole month! How much are you willing to donate?
Join TCF in empowering deserving children with education. Together, let's bring them to school.
