About Us
Hi! I’m Arfah Ahmed, a 16-year-old A-level student currently studying in Year 12 in Sharjah. I’ve always believed that education is one of the most powerful tools to change lives — not just academically, but emotionally. No child should ever feel forgotten, broken, or less than others just because of the circumstances they were born into. That’s why I joined the TCF Ambassadors of Change Programme — to help be part of that change.
Hello! I’m Haadia Imran, a 17-year-old and studying A-levels in Year 12 in Sharjah. I’ve always wanted to be part of something meaningful, and this campaign spoke to me because it gives us the chance to take action for something that matters: children’s right to education. I believe every child has potential, and they deserve the chance to explore it with dignity, support, and proper schooling.
Our Campaign
This summer, we’re part of a programme that brings together young people who care — people who want to make a real difference by giving back to society. It’s not just about volunteering; it’s about connecting with others who believe in hope, fairness, and change.
Right now, Pakistan is facing a serious education crisis. Over 26 million children are out of school, and more than half of them are girls. These aren’t just numbers — they are children with dreams, talents, and hearts just like ours, who deserve the chance to learn, grow, and feel proud of who they are.
The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed non-profit that builds and operates schools in the poorest parts of Pakistan. With over 2,000 school units and an enrollment of 301,000 students, TCF is changing lives at a national level. What’s even more inspiring is that their entire teaching staff — over 14,700 teachers and principals — is made up of women, making TCF the largest private employer of women in Pakistan.
As part of our campaign, TCF is supporting two specific TCF primary schools located in Sindh and Balochistan — Cowasjee Campus and Saharay Campus III — which serve 405 bright and deserving children, 50% of whom are girls. The total operational support required for the 2025–26 academic year is AED 178,000 (AED 89,000 per school).
Here’s how you can contribute:
AED 600 can educate a child for a full year (equivalent to AED 50 per month)
AED 14,900 can support an entire class for a year (equivalent to AED 1,250 per month)
AED 89,000 can support a whole school for a year
Since our campaign runs for just two months, we are focusing on one-time contributions. No amount is too small — every dirham counts and brings a child one step closer to a classroom, a future, and a life filled with opportunity.
You’re not just helping them study — you’re helping them believe.
Together, let’s bring them to school.
