Hi All,

This is Kanshika Manikandan a 6th Grader in UAE , a charming young Environmental Enthusiast, who is always ready to help anyone in need. At school, my favorite subjects are Science and Math. I am a  Mental Math graduate and an Artist who aims to make the Earth greener and bluer by initiatives in school with my group of friends.

I am  keen SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) follower, and  enjoys penning stories and artwork related to the United Nations SDG goals and objectives. I am  a Net Zero Hero and works to make this world Net Zero.  Working towards the SDG 4( Quality Education).   To make the world a better place,  I am  an ambassador of the UNICEF. By working hard together, we can put a smile on Mother Earth's face."

I came to know about the  kids in Pakistan struggling to get basic education which is must for all kids like me and i have done similar fund raising activity for kids back in India during Covid as the whole world went online and the affordability of buying system or tab or getting uninterrupted internet connection was a challenge and i tried my best to support the same by contributing to few kids education and also supported for few kids to complete their schooling/degree back in India.

  This programme  is designed to give supporters an opportunity to interact with like-minded, compassionate and altruistic people during this journey and learn the joy of giving back to society.

Pakistan is in the midst of an education crisis with 26.2 million children out of school, more than half of whom are girls.

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed non-profit organization that builds and operates formal schools in the urban slums and rural areas of Pakistan. The Economist has called The Citizens Foundation (TCF) "perhaps the largest network of independently run schools in the world." TCF has 2,033 school units across Pakistan where children were previously out of school. The Foundation is the largest private employer of women in Pakistan with an all-female faculty of 14,700 teachers and principals. Currently, TCF has an enrolment of 301,000 deserving students.
