Story

My name is Sana, I am 15 years old and I go to Uptown International School in Dubai. Through the TCF Baghbaan Youth Ambassador Programme, I have learned that even a small act of kindness can change the entire direction of a child’s life. This campaign means a lot to me because I have seen how education does not just teach lessons, it restores hope and dignity.

Pakistan is facing an education crisis, with over 26 million children out of school, many of them girls. The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is working to change this. TCF builds and runs schools in some of the most underserved communities, providing quality education where there was once none. Today, TCF has more than 2,000 schools and is educating over 300,000 students with an all-women faculty, creating not only educated children but empowered communities.

This year, my goal is to raise 6,000 AED to support the education of 10 children for an entire year. These are children who simply need a chance. A chance to learn, to believe in themselves, and to dream about a future that is bigger than their circumstances.
