Hello everyone! My name is Hamdan Yousuf and I am proud to say that I have vollunteered to fundraise for The Citizen's Foundation (or TCF for short)

Nelson Mandela once said that "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"

With 26.2 million children out of school, Pakistan is in the midst of an education crisis. It is estimated that one in three Pakistanis is illiterate, which makes it no surprise that Pakistan has the lowest literacy rate in South Asia. Most of the people without education are girls, having their literacy rates lagging behind male literacy rates by around 10%.

It is estimated that the population of Oceania as a continent is 46.9 to 47.1 million people.The population of illiterate Pakistanis is around 60 million, over a quarter more than the population of a continent.

This is where TCF comes in, setting up schools in the heart of Pakistani slums, and delivering quality education to over 320,000 deserving students. They are using education to lift families out of poverty and give them a life that was previously impossible to have. TCF is a professional non-profit organization that wants nothing more than to change Pakistan.
